This package enhances ADTF to to use the ASAM CMP protocol (version 1.0).

Overview

The following components are delivered:

Filter	Description
ASAM CMP Message Extractor	Use this filter to extract the status, vendor and data CMP messages.

Input format

The filter accepts samples of streamtype adtf/devicetb/ethernet or adtf/anonymous (if CMP frames are captured by ADTF UDP Receiver). Thus the following frames are supported as input data:

CMP
Ethernet/CMP
Ethernet/IPv4/UDP/CMP
Ethernet/IPv6/UDP/CMP

Output format

There is one requestable substream output pin named cmp_output. Checkout the chapter Output Pins for substream namings.

Restrictions

Fragmented Ethernet/IPv4 frames are ignored as they are prohibited by ASAM CMP.
There is no option for filtering messages by source/destination address/port etc. To do this, the frames must first be filtered eg. by the PCap BPF Ethernet Reducer of the ADTF PCAP Toolbox.
